Give the Gift of Life & Love this Holiday Season
Sponsor a member of our amazing healing herd (horses, goats, dog & cat) in honor or in memory of someone for a special gift that spreads love in all directions. 16 Hands of Love is a local 501c3 Nonprofit whose mission is to be a part of bringing about more peace, love, compassion and harmony to our world through the use of nature and rescued animals. By sponsoring a member of our herd you not only help to provide a safe, loving forever home but you also support them in offering their gifts and love to our world. And you will receive a personalized note from them just for you.

Takoda, 13. I am the first rescue in 16 Hands of Love's herd. I picked my name which means "Friend to Everyone" in the Sioux Native American language, which helps me to remember to be a strong yet compassionate leader of the entire herd. I am able to see your Truth and will help you to see and honor it as well. I am rescued from the dressage / competition world.
Buster, 11. I lead our goat herd with love and strength. I am the only goat in the herd who still has his momma to love and support him (Jenny Ann) and I got my name because I love to butt my head against things and I also give great back rubs, hence I am Buster. I am one of the gentlest goats and love to let the small children scratch between my horns. I teach others that they don’t have to take our horns off as we won’t hurt a living thing as long as we’re treated with love and respect. I was born into the goat herd that needed rescuing when my prior owner couldn’t care for me any longer.
Jenny Ann, 14. I am one of the elders of the herd and love caring for my son (Buster) and helping him to protect the herd. Once you earn my trust I will protect and care for you too. My greatest strength is helping those who visit to learn patience and perseverance in earning my attention and trust. I was rescued to help keep our herd intact when our owner couldn’t care for us any longer.
Mabel, 3. I am one of the largest of the goat herd but never abuse my power. I watch over, comfort and protect the elderly in the herd. I do not hesitate to point out when someone is too pushy and can offer the gift to those who are willing to learn of exuding a humble confidence. I was rescued with my brother, Dipper when my mother died after giving birth to us.
Toby, 5. I am quiet yet confident and help others to find similar strengths within themselves, not only in humans but also with other goats in the herd. I took Mabel and Dipper under my care when their mother passed. I am also the only rescued show goat and am grateful for my life. I often tip my head back to scratch my back and wonder where my horns are.
Sasha Kitty
George, 3-5?... My job is to live on the land with the goats and to protect the herd from predators. I also love to play with the humans that come to visit. I am extremely intelligent, loving and loyal. I hold space for those attending events and sessions and help bring in guidance and a sense of calm. I was rescued and found by my first human after falling out of a truck. When she no longer had a herd of goats for me to protect, she knew I needed my job and helped me find my new rescue forever home at 16 Hands of Love.
