Volunteering with 16 Hands of Love gives back to you just as much as it gives to us.
We’d love to connect and share in your gift of giving. Ways to volunteer with 16 Hands of Love:
(best suited for ages 5 and up with an adult)
- Feeding the herd (no experience needed, we train you and can work with your schedule)
- Volunteer days (specific projects to help us with)
- Grooming and spending time with the herd
- Helping during events (this can be anything from helping visitors to settle in to educating visitors about the herd)
-Help with social media or technology goals
-Help with Fun! Raising
- Grant Writing

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with 16 Hands of Love and our herd of amazing healers!
We are a small animal sanctuary with a big intentional purpose. The application form will help you determine if you’re a fit for us and vise versa. We are very unique in our offerings and want to be sure it’s a resonant fit for both of us.
Once you read through the application and feel that you’re a fit and we receive the application, we will contact you to schedule a training and “meet the herd and humans” visit. From there we discuss options and scheduling times. We are very laid back and allow things to flow, so this is a fun and “serves all” opportunity.
We may ask for a background check that a suggested donation of $20 is appreciated.

If you would like to make a donation in honor of a specific herd member, or sponsor a specific herd member, please be sure to leave a comment specifying which herd member in the "Write us a comment" selection.
